Jana Clemen is working as a DJ in the electronic musicscene since 1991 now. Her music style she would define as a "multistyle". Influenced from the Detroit and Chicago music scene, her DJ-Sets are a mix of minimal, funky, groovy, experimental rhythms-from House, Breaks; Techno and Electronics. Because her excellent choice and the energetic translation of music her national and international bookings are always rememberable.

Since 1994 Jana Clemen is working as producer. In 1995 she released on Roland Caspers "Essence Records". Under the project name "Abstract Soul" Jana produced on "Planet Rhythm UK" and finally she did an album on Cari Lekebuschs label "Hybrid". Her first remix she produced for Adam Beyer on the album "Recoded" and keep in mind releases on "Müller Rec.", "Fieber Rec.", "Phont music", "Convex Prod." ...and the list goes on.

In march 1998 Jana started her own label "Convex Productions". Concept is, to give female producers all over the world a platform to define their meaning of electronic music.
